Quality mares are the cornerstone for Bellbottom Farm.. Natural pasture environment prevents bad habits caused from excess confinement.
Sane, sensible large and small ponies to ride or drive! Proper cobs, gypsy ponies and miniature gypsy horses are here for your future!

I love this 2009 skyline photo with Q.T. (Quite The Pony) on the left (12 hands half gypsy mare) and purebred gypsy colt behind her playing with half gypsy colt.
Currently, we have four miniature horse mares (chosen for Shetland type) in addition to our two 12 hand range half gypsy daughters of Toymakker, as well as purebred gypsy cob, Truffles.
Lexington spent the summer of 2009 with his little herd of lovely tiny ladies averaging 36" tall; providing something special in the making of "tinies" for the future. We spent many hours searching for the appropriate stock for this venture and were rewarded with four fine Lex daughters!
Here we were visiting with part of the herd, (2009) daughter jumped on quiet Arctic Spring who gave her a ride without tack around the small paddock. They ended up in the corner following Truffles but soon Truffles had a passenger and she was just as accommodating as Spring! This was about the only time Spring and Truffles had to work that year!
Daughter had moved directly from back to back of each mare and now was working on "firedrill" turning around riding backwards! Spring has a new home in Wisconsin, where she is a treasured family horse.
The little black pony on the right is our Q.T., daughter of Toymakker and magical gypsy pony in training! Q.T. has already provided us with a fantastic son of Lexington and in 2012 expects a very nice 12 hand range gypsy pony sired by The Executive. If a colt, it will be for sale for $2500.

The Executive arrived at Bellbottom Farm November 2010; soon he was with the trainer preparing for cart and harness.

Foals expected in 2012 will all be tobiano/pinto marked as "Mr." is homozygous for black and the pinto gene. There is a small variety of size ranges to be expected since Truffles, our purebred gypsy cob mare, is the traditional size range of 14 hands; Purebred colts out of Truffles are priced at $7500 and her 2011 show winning superior quality colt is still available. See his new page at
http://minigypsy.wordpress.com/available-horses/
We do have one possible blue roan color half gypsy expected (to mature 50 inch range) and if it is a colt it will be available for sale. Q.T. and Dolly are both in foal and if they have a colt (3/4 gypsy) it will be available for $2500 and will be piebald with expected feather to look purebred in the 12 hand range size. Our four mini mares have proven that their babies will stay closer to their size than the sire size; we will be keeping any fillies born this year. A half gypsy/mini weanling colt will be priced at $1000. A mini mare bred back to "Mr." for 2013 will be your opportunity to have your own filly and said bred mini mare is available if contracted ahead of time for $1000.
We do have one very nice mini cross colt, son of Lexington, who is available for $1500. He is silver dapple color pinto:
This nice colt is going to be a stunning adult; every month he just looks better! This photo is from later summer 2011 when he was about three months old. He is a super opportunity for quality breeding prospect if someone happened to have smaller gypsy mare stock. If he doesn't sell, I have decided he is worth keeping around to breed to Bellbottom Truffles, I think that much of him. He looks like he will not mature over 40" tall.
